Jewel

The lighting needed to complement Jewell’s striking, wave-inspired architecture while responding to the varied requirements of a premium coastal development. With its combination of hotel, residential and shared spaces, the lighting scheme needed to balance functional illumination with the architectural vision, creating a cohesive aesthetic across different environments.

It was also important that the selected fittings integrate seamlessly with the building’s design, enhancing its sculptural forms and contributing to the development’s distinctive presence on the Gold Coast skyline.

LAD supplied a combination of PROLICHT Invader downlights, IBL Glass Pin downlights and iGuzzini Underscore InOut lighting solutions.

Together, the selected fittings contribute to a layered architectural lighting scheme that balances discreet illumination with integrated linear lighting. The combination supports the development’s contemporary design language, complementing its distinctive architectural forms while responding to the functional requirements of the space.
